Stuffed Dates


  • 1 lb. pitted dates
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, at room temperature
  • Sugar for rolling
  • Chopped walnuts (optional)



  1. Soften cream cheese after it is at room temperature and pack into a pastry bag with a large tip.
  2. Stuff dates with cream cheese at the open end. Walnuts may be inserted, if desired.
  3. Roll stuffed dates in sugar and keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
