Sweet & Sour Cabbage Wedges


  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 head green cabbage, quartered through the core
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or honey
  • course salt and ground pepper


  1. Put olive oil in a pan (skillet can be used) over med heat.
  2. Add the cabbage and cook it until golden brown (3 min per side).
  3. Add vinegar, sugar and 1.5 cups of water. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Cook the cabbage until tender (12 - 15 min).You can use a fork to test it.
  5. Serve with salt and pepper. You can also replace the salt with soy sauce
