Corn, sweet, on-the-cob

We have planted almost 2,000 row feet of sweet corn for our fall harvest in October.  There's nothing better!

We grow both the Armenian and the more common green salad cucumbers.  Cucumbers are said to possess almost magical health inducing and sustaining properties.  A cucumber a day keeps the doctor away.

Smells like pickles!

Eggplant is native to Thailand.  It is grown extensively around the Mediteranean and is gaining in popularity here in the United States.

Eggplants produce beautiful lavender flowers and lovely glossy dark purple fruit.  It thrives in the heat of the desert.  Eggplant burgers reign supreme among our friends the vegetarians and Eggplant is a great addition to any casserol or many soups.

This Green has a very distinctive shape and so adds a lot of character to any salad.  It is usually a bit strong in taste.

How can that be?  I just ate my daily dose of this wonder plant and now I'm banned from the Kitchen!  This stuff has magical powers as it repels Aphids, Crickets, Grasshoppers, AND family members.  Of course, Garlic is one of those plants Nature has given us to take care of our bodies by fortifying our immune systems.

Garlic Chives-Herb

If you couldn't tell from the name, it tastes like garlic.

We have a small vineyard of some 30 vines of several different varieties.  They should produce for the first time this year.  Believe it or not, our climate is very agreeable for grape production.  We have high hopes.
